ARIA Resort & Casino - MGM MIRAGE CityCenter’s main resort gets its name!

After several years of waiting, MGM MIRAGE has given a name to CityCenter’s main resort hotel. The 61-story casino-hotel has been named ARIA Resort & Casino. This beautiful name perfectly compliments the approx. $9.2-billion mega-resort’s centerpiece property.
Quick Tidbit
The property, designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, features approx. 4,000 hotel rooms, convention space, as well as an Elvis Presley-inspired Cirque du Soleil show. The property also contains an approx. 1,850-seat theatre, fitness center, spa, salon, and multiple pools. Approx. 18 restaurants, six bars, and a nightclub will also be found on the premises.

Etymology: Italian, literally, atmospheric air, modification of Latin aer
