I’m hearing that Eva Longoria is thinking of bringing her smash-hit restaurant Beso, to the Las Vegas Strip. From what people are saying, Vegas’ Beso would include a nightlife component. Niiiiice.

The new owner of the aging Sahara Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip has started talking. Recently, Sam Nazarian (a wealthy entrepreneur out of Beverly Hills) gave hints to his plans for the iconic property.

As if over $10 billion of mega-resort growth at Harmon Ave. and Las Vegas Boulevard wasn’t enough to ooh and ahh visitors come 2010 - Reports have hit the internet that Planet Hollywood has offered Mariah Carey a big offer for a three-year gig on the hottest corner on the Las Vegas Strip. It seems the perfect time to add one of the world’s biggest superstars to what is poised to become one of the most exciting blocks on the planet (no pun intended).
Trekkies Beware - Star Trek: The Experience coming to an end at the Las Vegas Hilton.

It has been announced that the 11-year run of Star Trek: The Experience will end on September 1st, 2008. From what I’ve heard (even from non-Trekkies), the interactive attraction is quite good.
Criss Angel Believe - Cirque du Soleil Show - Delayed.

Pooof, gone like an illusion - my tickets for an early showing of Criss Angel Believe, Las Vegas’ newest Cirque du Soleil show, are no longer valid. According to Los Angeles Times’ blog (as well as the LUXOR Box Office), the show has been slightly delayed.

With so much negative focus on the Las Vegas real estate market, it’s nice to give a reminder every now and then why the Las Vegas Strip and the few residential high-rise condo properties which call it home are so special. This photo does a pretty good job of that wouldn’t you agree?
